Tigzon is the first entry in the Tigzon series, released in June 14th, 2013. The game introduced Alex “Ashiko Chu” Chang (now Tai Z. Takara) as he obtained “the ancient spirit” transformation, known as Tigzon (a tiger-cat hybrid creature) and save the two mysterious girls from another planet Marx, alongside with their Puffies from by Commando Rex Chang and his RED soldiers who plan to destroy their universe. 

Originally a 20-part series, The games went on hiatus after the demo of the fourth part, leading the series on a cliffhanger or untold. As of 2015, the original Tigzon were private and considered them as retconned. On September 18th, 2015, the three games in the retconned Tigzon series is currently public through Mangamixer's second alt account, Tigzonworks.

A reboot in the series, called Tigzon of the TigerStar was in the works by Mangamixer. It would have retold the story of Tai Z. Takara as he obtained a mystical power known as the “Zonantix” to transform into a powerful spirit called Tigzon (a hybrid of a tiger and a fox). However, the game was cancelled due to the shutdown of Adobe Flash Player and Sploder server on December 31st, 2020,

Plot[]

It follows the adventures of a teenage male slacker, Alex “Ashiko Chu” Chang who obtained “the ancient spirit” transformation, known as Tigzon (a tiger-cat hybrid creature). the plot tells that the two teenage girls from another planet, Leaf, and Tina Loola, alongside with their Puffies was kidnapped by Commando Rex Chang and his RED soldiers for their plan to destroy their universe, Marx. Tigzon must save them and their planets from the RED Headquarters.

  • The game was originally planned as a Flash Adventure Physics Puzzle game called Flash Chronicles and would have a shadow clone named Drax (before Zega) but was changed to Tigzon because the creator, Gamerdeath722 find it a cool name.

  • The original was planned to have a remake and would be published on Mangamixer's second alt account, Tigzonworks. However, it was scrapped after the success of Tigzon Island demo.
  • Despite the series' hiatus, Tigzon and other characters often make cameo appearances in other Sploder games, such as Petit’s Adventure, Desert Wolf, Jingo as well as making numerous appearances on Sploder crossover games such as Crossover Project X and Sploder Brawlers.
  • Another reboots of the original games, known as Tigzon Adventure  (formally known as Tigzon Recoded or Rebooted), was going to be planned but privately canceled, due to glitches and creative difficulties.
